Bison is a highly sought after flogger leather. It is heavy and dense, but not stiff which gives it a thuddy and penetrating impact.
The hide used in these floggers is a very dark green that is nearly black, the handle is braided a hunter green and black.
These have steel cores and are balanced. The tails are 20 inches long the handles are 7 inches long. All of my floggers are made by hand in my shop in LA.
* Game leathers like Bison, Elk, and Deer are wild animals and their hides can have small marks. We cut any blemishes that are actual damage out of the hides before they are used for floggers but some small marks can remain. This is normal and does not compromise the integrity of the leather. These floggers also experience some "fluffing" when they are new and give off small leather dusts for a time. This is also normal and will go away with use. It is not the leather disintegrating or some such nonsense.
