Horsehair is one of those materials that people underestimate until the see it used correctly. Horsehair feels innocent at first touch, but when swung with a fair amount of speed it is sharp and leaves tiny little scratches in the skin. These can be inflicted near the end of an intense scene or as a very intense warm up when paired with sprits of iso alcohol.
