I call this type of single tail a scorpion. This one has a stingray hide tail. Stingray is covered in little calcified nodules. Every little bump is like a tiny hard stud on a flexible hide. Think of it as liquid bone.
It packs a PUNCH.
This toy is not for the faint of heart. It can cut, can leave welts, and should be practiced with before use. It is heavy with a steel shot core, two braided bellies and two leather bolsters. The braiding is done in paracord.
The Sevine handle is translucent with red and black and tiny hints of glitter.
All of my pieces are made by hand in my studio in Los Angeles. The stingray hides are sourced from animals used for food.
