Four Horsemen is a limited edition set. This is number 9. Only one more set will be made. Every set is different.
Pestilence- Red Kangaroo Quirt with Black Cherry bison tails. The handle has a bloody syringe embedded inside.
Famine- Gold and Silver Rhinestones with Murano glass beads in the handle. The tails are mix of soft painted lady tails with soft lambskin, goatskin and deer
War- Small grenades and bullets on a bed of gold. The tails are an elkskin thumper.
Death- Butterfly wings and a bat skull in the handle with rose thorn tails.
This collection has a special choice! You can choose the leather roll up bag, detailed below. Or you can choose a display shelf similar to the Dragon King Set. The catch is that display is not complete and will not be photographed in time for this launch, so you would have to trust me that it will be cool.
If you would rather not, then please choose the case. Keep in mind all sales are final.
The roll-up case is made with panels of leather and straps to hold each piece. The straps are heavy mahogany latigo. The protective flaps on the inside are soft cowhide. One side is engraved with a scene of the four horsemen by Albrecht Dürer.
Each flogger is fully functional as a toy and built to be used. (Use caution with the bones in the Pestilence. It has delicate tips that can break if they hit a hard surface.)
The horses are cast in heavy resin. Each horse is different. The theme of this set is a little roughed up, a little worn. None of the horses are perfect. The protective flaps on the bag are weathered and dirtied with blood-stained handprints on the inside.
Please note that if you decide to make this collection yours that it is not a pristine seamless creation. Every piece is a bit raw, a bit unfiltered. This is one of the first flogger sets I've made that I would put more in the art category than the toy category, even though it can be both.
