Shipping

All orders ship in discreet boxes. Orders of items that are ready made and in stock ship in 3-5 business days. 

Made to Order Items ship in 5-8 weeks. This is an ESTIMATED TURN AROUND TIME. Depending on order current order volume it can be longer.

  • Purchasers are responsible for giving us the correct shipping address
  • Purchasers are responsible for having a safe place for the package to be delivered. We are not responsible for the package getting rained on or damaged by inclement weather or animals.
  • Purchasers agree to fill out any insurance forms necessary to submit a claim in the event of a lost or damaged package.
  • Purchasers are responsible for giving us the correct shipping address! If a package is lost because you gave us the wrong address it may not be covered by insurance and we cannot refund you. This site is for adults and requires everyone to act like one.

We no longer offer rush orders and we do no guarantee delivery by a specific date.

All orders have tracking numbers emailed to the customer when they ship. Please white list FirebirdLeather.com on your email list, otherwise these emails can go to spam.

International Shipping;

We currently ship to the following countries;

Australia, Canada, Austria, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Isle of Man, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Romania, Sweden, Switzerland, Vatican City, 
*Due to the onerous paperwork and burdens placed on business due to Brexit, we are no longer shipping to the UK*
We are not responsible for any customs or VAT fees. We cannot predict if your country will charge fees on a package. These fees are not included in your shipping charge.
Customs can choose to hold packages for pickup. It is the buyers responsibility to monitor the tracking number to see if a package is held in customs.
We have NO influence over a package once it is shipped. If it is held in customs and not picked up it will be returned and we will notify you. There will be shipping charges to re ship the package. All packages are considered abandoned after 30 days. 
CHECK YOUR TRACKING NUMBER REGULARLY. INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMS MAY NOT NOTIFY YOU OF YOUR PACKAGES ARRIVAL AND WILL SEND THE PACKAGE BACK AFTER 7 DAYS IF NOT CLAIMED. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR PACKAGES SENT BACK.

 

Shop Policies

All sales are final after 24 hours and non-returnable. Please note that details like color can change from monitor to monitor and that each piece is handmade and will have slight variations from one another. I reserve the right to cancel and refund any order at any time.

RESIZING AND ALTERATIONS
I am happy to resize items but can no longer supply return labels for items. Shipping charges may apply for the item to be shipped back to you.

CANCELLATIONS

I do not cancel orders on made to order items after the 24-hour window unless the order becomes unmakeable for a reason unforeseen. The turn around time for orders is stated in multiple places and emailed to every buyer. I am not responsible for orders wanting to be canceled because the turn around time was not taken into account.

Deposits on custom orders are nonrefundable.

I do Not accept returns. I am happy to resize or alter items if they do not fit, but due to the high volume of wear and returns, and the nature of some of my items, all sales are final. 

TURN AROUND and MADE TO ORDER

This is an entirely handmade shop and made to order items are created when they are ordered. We typically have a 4-8 week wait time because that is how many people are waiting for orders at any given time. THE TURN AROUND IS A "SOFT" QUOTE. Items can sometimes take longer for a myriad of reasons. If you must have an item for a specific date it is best to contact us BEFORE placing your order.

Please note- If you email us before the turn around time has passed asking when your item will ship we may not respond. These emails slow us down. I'm sure everyone would rather have us in the shop making things and filling orders than being stuck at a computer asking questions people already know the answer to. 

If two weeks passed the turn around time has passed and you have not received your order please check your emails (and spam) for a shipping notification. If there isn't one please contact us with your order number.
