I wouldn't say this piece has the delicacy of a dragon tail, but what it lacks in that area it makes up for in pure punch capability. It is a real alligator backstrap.
The backstrap runs down the spine of the alligator and out through the tail. The very tip of the tail is the hanging strap of the piece. The underside has been lined with suede and boning has been added at the top for flow.
Sourced and tanned in Louisiana. The tail is 38 inches long, the handle is 8 inches long.
